I met my partner on Powwow. One night, lonely and surfing the White Pages, I came across the nickname "King Salmon" from a place I had never heard of in the United States. I couldn't resist. So a "Bunny" paged a "King Salmon". He too was lonely and answered my page.

                     We started talking and quickly found that we had a lot of things in common and had the same set of values. We continued to talk for two months and then arranged to meet at a Canadian airport near his home state. It was love at first sight.

             At our age, love happens quickly if you are ready. We met on the Internet in April 1997, met in person June 1997, he moved to where I lived in September 1997 and we got married September 1998 on the shores of a beautiful lake in Northern Canada.

             He is still my knight in shining armour and he makes me feel like his Queen. Our only regret is that we didn't meet sooner.

             Love does happen to those who wait. He is retired and his days are spent caring for me while I still work full time. He is a wonderful man and I feel like the luckiest woman in the world.
