The only drug I will ever compound
Is the love drug in my heart I found
Since you put it there my spirit rose
I look forward to my daily love dose

The first day I took it I became addicted
With your love drug I am now inflicted
The love drug that I take could not be any pure
For my love addiction there is no known cure

If there were I would not take it anyway
I’m happy to take my dose of love each day
My daily dose after all these years still frills
From it I get a bigger kick than all the pills

This addiction of mine it won't cost me a penny
I'd go to pieces if of my love drug I did not any
Know my daily love dose comes from your heart
I pay with a love interest from mine sweetheart

The more of the love drug I take the more I seek
If I don’t receive it night and day I become weak
I would have to take alone to my lonely sick bed
It won't happen you don’t ever keep me underfed

By telling you I am afflicted by your love drug
By stating this I don’t want you to feel me smug
I know how much of your love drug is wanted
No matter how much I won't take it for granted
