Brought from the deepest blue skies from above,
Angels carried, unto thee, a promise of a beautiful love.
Soft whispers chanted melodiously to a heart so fragile,
Time halts and stands motionless for a short while.
As a rose grows with vibrant color and full of life
from the sun's bright yellow beams,
A love flourishes into a sweet field of great
promises and dreams.
Like a raging river, it flows into the deepest
chambers of your heart,
A rumble fills the air as a wall of bricks comes tumbling apart.
When the dust finally settles, all can be seen,
Sitting on a pedestal is a radiant heart that glows so peaceful and serene.
I shall travel down the path of hell a million times more...
that is a given,
If that is what it takes to bring me closer to you...
my wonderful Slice of Heaven.
