In a moment of time
I knew you as mine
And all my life was bliss

Those days of wine
And feeling fine
The taste of your sweet kiss.

On mountain high
We touched the sky
Our hearts they beat as one

The earth in snow
The sky aglow
Our love fuelled by the sun.

As hand in hand
We walked this land
Our eyes they could not part

It was that time
The moment prime
You opened up my heart.

You changed my view
Through loving you
A feeling more than sweet.

I bide my time
Until you’re mine
And again I feel complete

A prayer of love
To God above
I beseech him every night

To have your heart
To never part
And forever hold you tight.
